Seminarian Evangelism Week – June 15-19, 2026

This week is a School of Evangelism designed to strengthen seminarians in the area of evangelism. The week pairs over 16 hours of classroom teaching on Biblical Evangelism with participation in daily evangelism. By combining the classroom with concentrated field experience, this week will allow seminarians to see Biblical truths and promises connected to the task of evangelism in greater dimension. This week also gives seminarians ample opportunity for rich fellowship, discussion, and prayer. Whether you’re headed towards pastoral ministry, evangelism and missions, teaching, or another call, expect your heart to be stirred, your vision to be sharpened, and your faith to be strengthened!

Some of the topics covered include Biblical prayer, the role of evangelism in the local church, the relationship of evangelism to pastoral ministry, evangelism modes and contexts, evangelism in practice, the relationship of apologetics and evangelism, and others. The teachers for this week are Rev. Chris Byrd, Regional Home Evangelist for the Presbytery of New Jersey & Puerto Rico (OPC), and Dr. Henry Krabbendam, professor emeritus of biblical studies at Covenant College.
